The Antidote for Office Politics
How leaders build calm constructive workplaces
Most people aspire to work in calm and collaborative workplaces where colleagues support each other, work towards shared goals and celebrate each other’s success. Yet the reality in many organisations can feel very different.
When trust is low, teams and individuals may start to focus on protecting their own interests rather than contributing to shared success. Misunderstandings can quickly grow into negative narratives, and even well-intentioned actions may be interpreted with suspicion.
Many leadership experts encourage us to “assume positive intent”, but this can be difficult in environments where speculation and doubt dominate. Leaders often find themselves asking: how can we create workplaces where people trust each other, support each other and bring out the best in one another?
In this interactive session we will explore practical ways leaders can strengthen trust, encourage constructive behaviour and create the conditions for calm, productive collaboration. The discussion will include insights from experienced people leaders who have faced these challenges in their own organisations.
