TES has been recognised with an HR Excellence and Impact Award at the People Matters Awards held in Kigali, Rwanda. The award was presented in August 2026 by People Matters founder Steven Murenzi, Assoc. CIPD, CSHRP.
It comes three years after Christian first arrived in Rwanda, where he was struck by the energy, potential and beauty of the country and its people. He says he is deeply grateful to the friends, clients and business partners he has made since.
Commenting on the award, Steven Murenzi said it had been "a privilege to witness your contribution to advancing the HR profession and supporting organizations through your expertise and leadership”.
"Your passion for developing people and strengthening workplaces continues to inspire the HR community in Rwanda and beyond."
The People Matters Awards are held annually and celebrate organisations and leaders who put their people first and set the standard for workplace excellence in Rwanda.
They recognise achievement in employee well-being, inclusive practices, innovation in people management and the promotion of decent work. Categories cover both the public and private sectors, and winners are chosen for measurable impact, innovation and commitment to sustainable workforce development.
